Happy Friday! How you would like to watch 43 uninterrupted minutes of two of the nicest guys in Hollywood? You can, because Chris Evans and Paul Rudd, a.k.a. Captain America and Ant-Man, recently chatted with each other for Variety’s at home Actors on Actors series. Please note that they’re both rocking some great quarantine beards in this informal talk.
Evans and Rudd recently met “virtually” from their respective homes and discussed a little bit of the everything. They of course chatted about their experiences with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Additionally they delved into Paul Rudd’s performance on Friends, embarrassing dance videos of Rudd that Evans has stored on his phone, and their new projects. That includes Defending Jacob on Apple TV+ and Living With Yourself on Netflix.

After some playful banter resulting in Rudd bringing out Thanos’s gauntlet, they got down to it. They asked each other thoughtful questions resulting in both actors reminiscing about past projects. They also spent quite a bit of time talking about what it was like working in the MCU. Evans played Steve Rogers from 2011-2019 and Rudd played Scott Lang from 2015-2019. So, they both have a bit of history of working within the franchise.
Both Evans and Rudd are very polite to each other during the video. Neither one seemed to want to talk about himself for too long, so they kept the interview to a quick back and forth style. The interview ends with both actors saying how awful these types of interviews usually are, but doing it together made it less so. All in all, it’s a delightful interview to take you into the weekend.
And if you need a little extra oomph, you may as well watch Sir Patrick Stewart and Henry Cavill‘s installment of the Actors on Actors series.
It is equally charming.

Attention, Wynonna Earp fans. We’ve got some good news, and some bad news for you. The good news first: The wait will soon be over, as we’ve learned (via Entertainment Weekly) that the cult Syfy series will return for its fourth season on July 26th. Now for the bad news. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, filming on the most recent season had to come to a halt prematurely. Sadly, there are only six episodes in the season due to this. When possible, production will resume in Canada; Syfy will premiere the rest of the season at a later date.
In the meantime however, Syfy has released a new trailer for the upcoming season. One which acknowledges the lengths the passionate fanbase has gone to make sure the series came back. You you can watch the full trailer down below:
The delay is a bit of a blow for Wynonna Earp fandom, as they’ve already had to wait forever since the end of season three. The last new episode for the series aired way back in September of 2018. After that, the show’s future was in doubt. Several different financial obstacles arose between the show’s production company and the owner of the property, IDW Entertainment. But now those hurdles are behind them, and it’s game on once again for Wynonna and company.
Syfy
This newest season will find Wynonna going up against her most formidable adversary so far in the series, due to the Earp family curse finally broken. And she is facing these challenges without her infamous gun, Peacemaker. According to the cast, this new season will be something of a love story, although how exactly that will play out, and between whom, is still a mystery. And although San Diego Comic-Con is canceled, the cast will still headline a virtual panel right before the season premiere, as part of Comic-Con@Home.
Wynonna Earp returns on July 26 at 10 p.m. ET on Syfy.
