Hi everyone! Today I want to go over which team picks I got correct and wrong! I predicted that the Titans would beat the Chiefs 36-30, but the final score was 27-3 Titans over the Chiefs. The Titans offense and defense played very well. The Chief’s defense was awful once again and the offense did not even score a touchdown as they were held to just 3 points all game. The Chiefs are 3-4 and the Titans are 5-2 on the season. I predicted that the Packers would beat the Football Team 45-17, but the final score was 24-10 Packers over the Football Team. I predicted that the Raiders would beat the Eagles 30-17, but the final score was 33-22 Raiders over the Eagles. I predicted that the Rams would beat the Lions 45-16 in a blowout, but the final score was 28-19 Rams over the Lions. The Lions were very aggressive by recovering an onside kick, and faking the punt a couple of times. The reason why they wanted to do that is because they knew that they cannot win in a shootout against a very good team. But again, they still lost. I predicted that the Buccaneers would beat the Bears 29-17, but the final score was 38-3 Bucs over the Bears. The Bucs offense and defense played very well, especially on defense because they did not allow the Bears to score a touchdown on offense just like the Chiefs. I predicted that the Cardinals would beat the Texans 41-17, but the final score was 31-5 Cardinals over the Texans. I predicted that the Saints would beat the Seahawks 27-20, but the final score was 13-10 Saints over the Seahawks in a pretty close game, but a low scoring game as well.

I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Bengals 27-24, but the final score was 41-17 Bengals over the Ravens. I predicted that the 49ers would beat the Colts 26-23, but the final score was 30-18 Colts over the 49ers. So, based off my team picks, I have gotten 7 out of 9 picks correct! I only got 2 team picks wrong to win and lose!

Now, let’s get started on week 8 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Titans @Colts game, the divisional rivalries. Both of these teams are coming off with their wins last week. I think that this will be a good game. I think I am going to get a slight edge to the Titans over the Colts in a close game 30-24 because I think right now the Titans are rolling especially the running back Derrick Henry. I think the Colts can keep up with the Titans, but at the end, the Titans eventually find a way to beat the Colts, possibly in overtime. The next game I will predict is the Dolphins @Bills game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Bills will come out on top of the Dolphins 34-19. The Dolphins are just playing awful football and losing games. The next game I will predict is the Bengals @Jets game. Yeah, I expect the Bengals to come out swinging and beat the Jets pretty good 40-10. The next game I will predict is the Steelers @Browns game, the divisional rivalries. I think this is going to be a really good game. I think I am going to give the edge to the Browns over the Steelers in a close game 27-24. The next game I will predict is the Eagles @Lions game. Both of these teams are coming off with their losses last week. I do think the Eagles will beat the Lions 26-17 in a close game. The next game I will predict is the Rams @Texans game. I think the Rams will beat the Texans pretty easily 40-10. The Rams will be coming out with fire with fire. The next game I will predict is the 49ers @Bears game. I think the Bears might actually beat the 49ers in a close game 23-20 because I think the Bears are starting to play a bit better even though they lost 2 in a row. The next game I will predict is the Patriots @Chargers game. I think the Chargers will beat the Patriots 38-21 because this is a team that the Chargers should beat tomorrow. The next game I will predict is the Jaguars @Seahawks game. Both of these teams are not playing good football right now. However, I do expect the Seahawks to finally snap their losing streak with the win over the Jags 24-13 because they are a better team than the Jags. The next game I will predict is the Buccaneers @Saints game, the divisional rivalries. Both of these teams are coming off with their wins last week. I think that this should be a great game. I think the Bucs will find a way to get the win over the Saints 31-23 because the offense and defense will later on in the game step up and start making big plays. The next game I will predict is the Washington Football Team @Broncos game. I do expect the Broncos to finally win the game over the Football Team 33-17. The next game I will predict is the Cowboys @Vikings game on Sunday Night Football. Both of these teams are coming off with their wins and their bye weeks. I think the Dallas Cowboys will come out on top over the Vikings in a close game 32-27 because I think the Cowboys are a better team than the Vikings. They’re going to be a lot of Vikings and Cowboys fans there so get pumped up! The last game I will predict is the Giants @Chiefs game on Monday Night Football. The Giants are coming off with their win last week over the Panthers 25-3 and the Chiefs are coming off with a bad loss last week against the Titans. I do expect a bounce back win for the Chiefs over the Giants 36-24 because I think their defense might play a little bit better. They still might struggle, but it will be enough to beat the Giants plus the Giants can’t really score 30 points in a game.

So, what do you guys think about the NFL week 8 team picks?! I would love to hear lots of comments, thoughts, opinions, questions, or concerns down below!

Stay tuned for NFL updates.

Even Fox News Wants To Make Sure It’s Not Associated With Tucker Carlson’s Horrific 1/6 “Documentary”

https://www.themarysue.com/tucker-carlson-insurrection-mockumentary/

Tucker Carlson promotes the "Tucker Carlson Original" show "Patriot Purge" on his fox news show

Tucker Carlson is releasing a “documentary” about the January 6 Capitol Riot, in which he plans to “tell the true story” of the day. Truth is subjective, though—or, in Tucker’s case, completely made up—because his version of the “truth” involves telling viewers that the insurrection was (or “may have been”) a “false flag” meant to frame Trump supporters and that it is part of “the War on Terror 2.0” aimed at silencing those supporters.

On his Fox News show this week, Carlson announced the premiere of Patriot Purge, a three-part “docuseries.” But apparently, the network wants to make sure that no one actually thinks it has anything to do with the series, despite the fact that it’s been created and promoted by their most popular “news” host right on their own network.

After the Daily Dot ran a story about the new “Tucker Carlson Originals” series, Fox News emailed the site asking them to make it “clear that these new episodes are for [streaming service] FOX Nation,” rather than Fox News.

Daily Dot’s original article did not say the series—which, based on the trailer, seems to downplay the threat of white nationalism in America and falsely claims that the left is “hunting conservatives” and sending them to Guantanamo Bay “to rot” for participating in the Capitol riot—would run on Fox News. Nonetheless, the network wanted the site to expressly clarify that the series is not for the network, but for its paywalled subscription-based platform.

“I don’t see that noted anywhere in the piece,” Fox New’s PR rep told the site. “Tucker Carlson Originals is not for the channel.”

But, as Mediaite notes, even if the series is not running on Fox News, “the trailer is airing on Fox News, and Fox Nation is an extension of the network’s brand, therefore raising questions about programming decisions at Fox News. How did this get through any standards vetting process? Is there such a thing as a standards vetting process?”

I’m going to guess that, for Fox News, that’s a hard no.

Challenger Approaching: Are We Getting a Super Smash Warner Bros.?

https://www.themarysue.com/super-smash-bros-warner-bros-addition-edition/

The Warner siblings in Animaniacs.

Now that the final character has been added to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we’ve apparently moved on from theorizing which characters would join the roster to theorizing which companies would be making their own platform fighter. Next up … Warner Bros.?

The genre started by Nintendo’s smash hit crossover fighting game has seen plenty of entries already, but with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl entering the ring and marking a major brand taking direct aim at Nintendo’s franchise—including well-known competitive Smash Bros. techniques and the rollback netcode Ultimate is sorely lacking—it seems like we may be entering a new phase of competition. Now, it seems that Warner Bros., which made its crossover ambitions more than clear in Space Jam: A New Legacy, may be getting in on the fun.

Rumors began to fly earlier this week that the entertainment giant that owns properties from DC Comics to the Looney Tunes is already well underway with their own spin on the platform fighter concept. That started with a Reddit post claiming the game was coming, alongside a trademark for a game called “Multiversus,” and that it would feature a tag-team mechanic. (So … like a Mario Kart: Double Dash!! version of Smash Bros.?)

Then, what appeared to be a character select screen for the title was purportedly leaked, although EventHubs reports that it was quickly removed by copyright takedowns. While we’ve all seen our fair share of fake Smash Bros. leaks over the years that lead me to caution believing this image was real, if it’s true that it was subjected to copyright claims, well …

Who are the characters in this alleged Warner Smash Bros.?

The most important thing for most games in this genre is … who will appear as a playable fighter? That’s half the fun, and the supposed leak named Scooby Doo’s Shaggy, Gandalf, Tom and Jerry, Batman, Fred Flinstone, Mad Max, and Johnny Bravo. It also mentioned Harry and Ron but said they might not actually be in it, which we’d prefer at this point. Other characters depicted on the selection screen include Adventure Time’s Finn and Jake the dog, Harley Quinn, Superman, Wonder Woman, Steven Universe, Rick of Rick and Morty, and Bugs Bunny,

However, whether or not the rumored game is real, the question that remains is … will it be any good? Despite the competitive community’s arguments over the various finer points of the series, Smash Bros. remains the undisputed champion of the genre in terms of overall quality, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, for all the promise of its developers’ experience, is hampered by some pretty glaring rough spots, including a complete lack of voice acting for the characters and iconic music from their respective properties.

As much promise as there is in the concept for many different companies’ stables of franchises, the genre practically begs for licensed cash grabs, and so far, there’s not much reason to think we’ll get something better.

Tomorrow, Night’s Game Pick!

https://www.thenerdelement.com/2021/10/27/tomorrow-nights-game-pick/

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about the big matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. Both of these teams are really good teams. The Cardinals are 7-0 and the Packers are 6-1. Both of these teams are coming off with their wins. The Cardinals blew out the Texans 31-5. I predicted that the Cardinals were going to beat the Texans 41-17, but I got the pick correct! The Packers beat the Football Team 24-10. I predicted that the Packers were going to beat the Football Team 45-17, but I got the pick correct as well!

Now let’s get to the prediction and some injury updates, shall we?! So, for the Cardinals, a defensive player JJ Watt has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game. A starting center Rodney Hudson will still be out, and another center Max Garcia is questionable. If he is ruled out for the game, then the 3rd string center Sean Harlow will be starting for the Cardinals. That may be a concern for the Cardinals offensive lineman. But for the Packers, they have a couple of players who have tested positive for Covid-19. Offensive lineman David Bakhtiari, wide receivers Devante Adams, Allen Lizard, a defensive coordinator Joe Barry, and defensive back Za’Darius Smith are the ones that tested positive and may be ruled out for the game. That should be a concern for the Packers as well. Now, the Cardinals need to get off to a great start, score touchdowns, pressure Aaron Rodgers, run out the clock, make the Packers one-dimensional, don’t let Rodgers have time to get down the field to score a game-winning touchdown or a field goal if the game is really close. The Cardinals should try and run down the clock and try to slide short of the endzone because the Packers may want you to score touchdown. Just like the 49ers did against them.

This should be a great game!

So, for my pick here, I will say the Cardinals will take care of business with a close game over the Packers 33-20. I am not going to underestimate the Packers too much though. The Packers without Adams are 6-0 somehow. They should not be better without him, unless they really struggle. Again, I am confident enough for the Cardinals to beat the Packers.

So, what do you guys think about tomorrow’s game pick?! I would love to hear lots of comments, thoughts, opinions, questions, or concerns down below!

Stay tuned for NFL updates.
