Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. is a satirical comedy starring Regina Hall as Trinitie Childs – the proud first lady of a Southern Baptist megachurch, who together with her husband Pastor Lee-Curtis Childs (Sterling K. Brown), once served a congregation in the tens of thousands. But after a scandal forces their church to temporarily close, Trinitie and Lee-Curtis must reopen their church and rebuild their congregation to make the biggest comeback that commodified religion has ever seen.

Got nearly $2 million to spend and need to know what time it is? If so, Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille and Ferrari have teamed up to make the perfect luxury product for you. It’s an undoubtedly cool looking wrist watch and comes complete with a laser engraving of the iconic prancing horse logo. At 1.75 millimeters, or about the same thickness as a quarter, the watch is the thinnest in the world. It beats out the previous record for thinnest watch set at 1.80 millimeters by Bulgari just a few months ago. 

Because there’s no room for a battery, you have to manually wind the watch about every 45 hours. Richard Mille is only making 150 and each one costs $1,888,000. Which leaves us to wonder—at that price, does it come with someone to wind it for you? 

The picture above superimposes the face of the watch with its internal components. Instead of a stacked assembly of various cogs and wheels, everything is spread out. It is made mostly of titanium so the parts won’t bend. According to the Richard Mille website, it took 6,000 hours of development and testing to perfect the design.  

We heard about the extreme luxury watch on Gizmodo. They make the valid point that it is simply a timepiece. No smart features, fitness tracking, or internet access. It is water resistant to about 30 feet though, as well as shock resistant.

There are many limited edition luxury watches out there on the market. If nerdy is more your style, check out the Black Panther or Boba Fett themed wrist watches, both of which will “only” set you back about $120,000.

BURBANK, Calif. –July 8, 2022–Nickelodeon will invite fans to dive into an immersive experienceat Comic-Con International: San Diego 2022, showcasing the depths of Bikini Bottom, imaginations of babies, a new generation of Transformers robots, the hallways of Monster High, the elements of Avatar and more. Headquartered at its 1,800 square-foot booth (#4113) on the convention center floor, Nickelodeon will celebrate fan-favorite characters and shows with one-of-a-kind panels, talent signings, activations, exclusive products and interactive design elements featuring: SpongeBob Universe (SpongeBob SquarePants and its two original spinoff series, The Patrick Star Show and the Paramount+ Original series, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years), the Paramount+ Original series Rugrats and Transformers: EarthSpark, plus Monster High: The Movie, Avatar: The Last Airbender and more.

Every day of the convention, Nickelodeon’s booth will feature: a 16-foot-tall Bumblebee of Transformers: EarthSpark photo opportunity and AR experience; an immersive Monster High: The Movie activation, where fans can compete against the clock to match objects to lockers; an 8-foot-long underwater television from The Patrick Star Show that fans can step inside;a Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years photo opportunity; a Rugrats photo opportunity;an Avatar: The Last Airbender-themed retail area featuring a custom t-shirt station and one-of-a-kind, exclusive collectibles; costumed-character appearances; and autograph signings with the voice casts and producers from SpongeBob Universe, Rugrats, Transformers: EarthSpark and Avatar: Braving the Elements podcast.
