Willem Dafoe as the Green Golbin.

Finally, a rumor that I can THRIVE with. On Collider’s Jeff Sneider‘s most recent podcast, he said that he’s heard—and is “pretty sure” it’s accurate—that Willem Dafoe is the main villain and leading his own version of the Sinister Six against Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. As the official Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark superfan, this is truly my dream situation.

All I want in this world now is for Willem Dafoe to have to sing this song and introduce his own Sinister Six.

While I am well aware of this just being a rumor, I’m going to bask in the idea of Willem Dafoe coming back as the Green Goblin. The reason he worked so well was that he understood the campiness of Norman Osborn and just how frightening he could be, too. You believed that this man lost everything and wanted to do his best to get some sort of power back. It’s why he was the only Norman turned to Green Goblin we saw in the live-action movies (we did have another Norman, but he never took on the Green Goblin mantle onscreen).

Would I give my firstborn to have this rumor be real? Honestly, yeah. You can also take my cat. Take my savings. I just want Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina to be back in the world of Spider-Man again so I can cry about it for the next twenty years. (I’m going to pretend like I did not realize that Spider-Man, the movie, is almost twenty years old.)

Settlement Details In Simon And Falynn Guobadia’s Divorce Emerge

As Falynn and Simon Guoabdia get closer to finalizing their divorce, terms of their settlement have been revealed. According to People, the estranged couple’s prenuptial agreement has been enforced. Per the agreement, the couple agreed to split profits from the sale of a joint property, which is valued at $153,725.34. Simon agreed to pay Falynn her portion of the sale, $50,000, in two installments as an equitable division payment, which was a term listed in their prenup.

In the state of Georgia, marital property is typically divided based on the principle of equitable division, which means that the courts will attempt to split assets in a manner that is deemed fair or equitable. In some cases, this results in a 50/50 split. In others, it does not.

Both parties waived their rights to alimony. Simon will remain the owner of their marital home, which was recently listed for sale at $4.99 million. Falynn is required to vacate the premises by May 28.

Simon first filed to divorce Falynn on January 15, according to Yahoo News. A week later, he dismissed the filing and was seemingly working to repair his marriage. One month later, on February 19, he filed again, stating that their union was “irretrievably broken.” The following March, Falynn acknowledged her receipt of her estranged husband’s petition to divorce. A month later, both Falynn and Simon announced their impending split on social media.

“After two years of marriage and 5 years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways,” she began,” Falynn wrote in a statement. “We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children. This mutual decision was not made lightly,” she continued, “and despite our current willingness to be transparent, we only ask our friends and supporters to be respectful of our privacy as our family gets through this very difficult period.”

As previously reported, Simon is now engaged to marry Falynn’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star, Porsha Williams.

Okoye BLACK PANTHER Spinoff in Development for Disney+

https://nerdist.com/article/okoye-black-panther-spinoff-danai-gurira-disney-plus/

Not too long ago, we learned that Marvel was developing a Wakanda-based series for Disney+, with Ryan Coogler producing. But that’s not the only Black Panther spinoff series coming to the streamer. Via a profile on showbiz “Power Lawyers” in The Hollywood Reporter, we’ve discovered that Danai Gurira is not only returning for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but is also getting her own Okoye spin-off origin series for Disney+. As Okoye was easily one of the most popular characters in the whole MCU, this is richly deserved.

So what do we know about this Okoye series? Well, right now, not much. Only that it’s far enough in development to have already secured Dunai Gurira’s return. Of course, due to her years on The Walking Dead as Michonne, we all know we’re in for a treat. One imagines we will see the rest of the Black Panther’s royal guard, the Dora Milajae, in some form on the Okoye series.

Okoye leads the Dora Milaje in Black Panther.

In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Dora member Ayo also impressed viewers. So here’s hoping she’s a guest star at least. Of course, there is also the romance between Okoye and Daniel Kaluuya‘s W’Kabi to explore. He will almost certainly appear as well. If it ends up as a flashback series, then perhaps King T’Chaka too? Okoye served him long before T’Challa. Her friendship with Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) is also something we hope to see more of.

Okoye debuted in the Marvel Knights Black Panther series in 1998. Aspects of her backstory which may appear include Okoye helping to recruit Queen Divine Justice into the Dora. Divine Justice, the actual queen of the Jabari tribe of Wakanda, grew up in Chicago. She would be another great character to see in an Okoye series. In the comics, Okoye also has a brief flirtation with Kasper Cole, the White Tiger. Any of these aspects of her past are worthy storylines. When it comes to the captain of the Dora Milaje, the possibilities are endless.

‘You Married? Yo Mama Married?’: This Is What Jim Jones Had To Say After A Radio Host Asked If He And Chrissy Lampkin Still Feel Pressured To Tie The Knot…

If you were wondering whether there was an update on Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin’s plans to end their over-decade-long engagement, media personality and host Kendra G. asked the rapper the infamous question during an interview this morning (May 27) and as expected, he jokingly gave her a sharp-tongued response.

When Kendra G. asked, “Is there still pressure for you and Chrissy to get officially married?” — the rapper started his answer by promptly asking her back, “You married? Yo mama married?”

When the radio host had interjected to say that neither she or her mother were married, Jones continued, “Alright then so that should answer your question. Why you worried about me getting married?”

“You talking to me about something you haven’t fulfilled or your mom hasn’t fulfilled so you shouldn’t be worried about what’s going on in my house — try to figure out what’s going on in yours,” the rapper shadily said.

When Kendra G. defended her choice to ask him the question by highlighting that “as a fan” she and other viewers watched him and Chrissy get engaged (twice, during the early seasons of Love & Hip Hop New York), Jones rebutted her statement by saying “as a fan — you fans need to turn around and see if your mama’s married, or your father’s married. That’s what you fans need to do. If that’s not going on in your household you fans don’t need to ask me any questions, you dig?”

After saying that he planned on taking that stance in any future interviews if someone asked him about he and Chrissy’s wedding plans again, the rapper went on to clear the air with Kendra G. by saying, “I’m just playing with you. Marriage is a beautiful thing. Everybody has their course in life and I love my woman and we’re doing extremely well and I’ve been together longer than I’ve seen people be married all over this world.”

“Every woman deserves marriage and when it’s the right time for us, please believe it’ll be done,” he added. “I don’t know if it’ll be done for the public but it’ll definitely be done for us.”

In a comment underneath @theneighborhoodtalk‘s repost of the clip, the radio personality didn’t seem to harbor any hard feelings about what Jones said to her. She also noted that at one point, her mother had been married but unfortunately she was now deceased.

Kendra G.’s comment read, “Gotta love Jim! For the record, no love was lost! We even laughed about this whole exchange. I respect his response. And for the record my Mother passed away… she was married at one point. Maybe I should have said that. ❤️  Again, it’s all good and all love! Thank you @theneighborhoodtalk for posting ❤️❤️❤️.”

On her own Instagram, she emphasized that what Jones said hadn’t been offensive to her and even made light of the rapper’s response to her question when she shared a clip of the interview. Her caption said, “JIM JONES GATHERED ME TOGETHER CHILE! ????‍♀️ @jimjonescapo It’s All Love!!! Just know if you are NOT Married yourself don’t ask Jim Jones when is he getting married!!! ???.”

See Kendra G’s post of the clip from The WGCI Morning Show’s interview with Jones down below.
