Dollar store “prayer candles” have to be one of my favorite supplies to work with — they are clear glass containers filled with a candle. You can easily decorate them any way you like. I especially  like these spooky candle holders I found over at Today’s Creative Life: [DIY Spooky Candle Holders]

Artist Annabelle H (username @sparklyfawn) started up the hashtag #DrawingWhileBlack to celebrate and appreciate black artists, including illustrators, painters, and graphic designers. The results have been spectacular, and I’ve been ooh-ing and aah-ing at my Twitter feed all day.
