Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow in Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow.
The first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina. Directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige, Black Widow hits U.S. theaters on May 1, 2020.

ARRAY Releasing has acquired Numa Perrier’s award-winning film Jezebel.
Based on Perrier’s true-life experiences Jezebel marks the writer/director’s feature directorial debut, which made its world premiere at SXSW 2019. Perrier also won The Craig Brewer Emerging Filmmaker Award at the 2019 Indie Memphis Film Festival.
The film follows 19-year-old Tiffany (Tiffany Tenille) as she navigates her dying mother’s financial struggles. By working as an internet fetish cam girl in the 90s, the young woman uses her fantasy world as an escape from her real-life circumstances.
“Numa Perrier’s directorial debut delivers a beautiful balance of poignancy and humor to reveal truths about women, family and sisterhood in a way we rarely witness,” said ARRAY President Tilane Jones. “Numa’s exploration of women’s relationships to their bodies, their inner life and their outer world is exciting to witness and we’re proud to amplify this new and exciting voice in cinema.”
January theatrical release dates for New York, LA and other select cities will be announced in the coming weeks.
It will premiere on Netflix on Jan. 16 and in select cities in theaters in January.

Officials are warning beachgoers about shark encounters after a man’s paddle board was bitten by one of the big creatures in Hawaii.
Larry Oberto of Maui was stand-up paddleboarding roughly 200 yards off the shore of Kīhei when suddenly, a 10-12-foot-long tiger shark deflated his inflatable board, according to a Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) press release.

Another paddleboarder, who was identified as Al Gaston, was close by and helped Oberto get onto his board, Fox News noted. Both men told the DLNR that the creature was “very aggressive” and followed them back to shore.
Fortunately, no one was hurt during the incident.
“When I caught a glimpse of the shark, I was like, ‘Damn, this thing is bigger than my board.’ I was like, in awe, and at the same time, I don’t know if I want to be here,” Oberto told Maui Now. “And, I decided, you know, I want to get out of here.”

DLNR officers were notified about the situation and warning signs were posted to let beachgoers know of the possibility of a shark within the area. The signs are advising people to stay out of the water from Cove Park to Waipu‘ilani Park in Kīhei until the vicinity is clear.
