Lizzo knew something wasn’t right when she noticed her videos of her flaunting her voluptuous body in a swimsuit disappearing from her TikTok account. She wasted no time in calling them out and posted a video mouthing the words to “I Know.”
“Tiktok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits…But allows other videos with girls in bathing suits…I wonder why Tiktok…we need to talk.”
The “Truth Hurts” singer is known for calling out those who fat shame and treat the more curvaceous like they are less than. She implied that TikTok took her video down because she isn’t a skinny-mini in a two-piece. The app denied that they were being bias by taking down her videos. A rep told Page Six that they thought she was flashing her underwear which would be violating the platform’s community guidelines. Once the video was reviewed it was restored to her account.
Whether TikTok likes it or not, nothing will stop the 31-year-old from flaunting her curves on any and every platform.
“I love my body. No matter what angle you shoot it at … my body is just so f–king beautiful all the time,” the Michigan native told V Magazine last year. “I may talk s–t about it sometimes, but f–k. She’s still a bad b—h.”
Now that she has won this battle she has to focus on her legal battle. She was recently sued by two brothers, Jeremiah and Justin Raisen, who claim they partially wrote her hit single “Truth Hurts.”
“They had nothing to do with the line or how I chose to sing it,” the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram about their claims. “There was no one in the room when I wrote ‘Truth Hurts,’ except me, Ricky Reed, and my tears. That song is my life, and its words are my truth.”

In further signs that men are inessential (JUST KIDDING! You guys are great), a female Komodo dragon named Charlie has conceived three babies without the help of a male. Charlie, who resides at the Chattanooga Zoo in Tennessee, was previously paired with a male dragon, but wouldn’t mate with him. Instead, she produced her 6-month-old triplets Onyx, Jasper, and Flint via a process known as parthenogenesis.
According to the Zoo’s Instagram, “Parthenogenesis is a type of reproduction where the female produces offspring without male fertilization. In the wild, Komodo dragons mainly live isolated and often become violent when approached, which has allowed these animals to evolve to reproduce both sexually and parthenogenetically.”
What can we say, we stan a reproductive queen that gets it done all by herself.

Justice League #42
In this issue, the team is flat out getting their ass kicked with no end in sight. But they have a plan to trick the Eradicator and the Daxamites into a situation that might even the playing field. The story in this book is very different than the one that Scott Snyder and his buds were telling. It’s not as ambitious, and it feels familiar. But what I do enjoy is that the team feels authentic. Every single hero makes decisions that feel unique to their character.
Superman: Villains #1
In Superman #18, everyone’s favorite Kryptonian told the world that he was Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent. And this book examines the aftermath of that bombshell on his family, friends, and the villains he’s been fighting for years.
Strange Academy #1
We are only in the first issue but Skottie Young does an excellent job of introducing us to this new section of the magical world. Young excels at telling fun and fairly outrageous stories and Strange Academy is no exception. The class we are introduced to has a diverse lineup of students and they are all fleshed out pretty well. So, we have a pretty damn good cast of characters on that front.
Miles Morales: Spider-Man #16
Aside from Miles needing a lesson in dos and do nots, Saladin Ahmed gives readers the best of both worlds in this issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man. Miles’ adventure with Billie is a cute one, despite his questionable decision making along the way. It’s a fun little side story that’s great for the same reason that Miles skipping school to go to the Brooklyn Museum was. It also showcases how much Miles’ life has changed since the birth of Billie.
