There’s no question that the City Girls had an amazing summer. But with the release of JT and the birth of Caresha (Yung Miami) Brownlee’s daughter, it looks like the fall won’t be half bad either.

Yung Miami welcomed a daughter she named Summer Miami. She announced the newborn’s arrival on her Instagram page.

In the second photo, she showed her boyfriend Southside, a music producer, asleep next to baby Summer.

We already know that her partner in rhyme is excited for the arrival. JT, who is currently living part time in a halfway house until March, completing the rest of her sentence, left a comment on the post.

“Auntie snook snook now it’s 3 city girls let’s get it.”

Summer Miami So happy & blessed.

We’re so happy that Summer Miami arrived safely. While Caresha’s pregnancy seemed to be a healthy one, the life of she and her baby were threatened this past August when the car she was riding in was shot up as she left the studio. 

While Yung Miami initially took a while to announce her pregnancy, fearing that it would impact the trajectory of their career, especially with her being the only one out and able to work, it seems like the group will be just fine. If they can survive incarceration, a beautiful baby doesn’t have to stop the show.

This is Yung Miami’s second child. She has a six-year-old son named Jai.

Congratulations and thank God for a healthy baby and safe delivery.
