It is no secret that we’ve been reminiscing about the 90s for a few years now, and especially in the fashion world. The trend cycle is obviously one that is very fickle but what remains consistent is the looks served in the ’90s TV shows that brought these trends to the forefront. From oversized denim to microbraids to Phat Farm and Sean John, the 90s was an era that will forever bring a warm nostalgic feeling.

If you were born in ‘99 or the early 2000s, to say that you weren’t experiencing some of the 90s would be a shame—- TV show re-runs are a thing. Lots of you early aughts babies were definitely watching some of these shows growing up and are still influenced by the storylines and fashion on these iconic shows. From A Different World to Sister Sister, take a look through our top picks to grab inspiration from.

The plot of the show was brilliant, and on top of that, there were endless amounts of people, from main characters to background characters, wearing the best outfits. The type of uniqueness that can only come from a college setting where young Black people are really learning about who they are and who they want to become. Lisa Bonet is one of the standouts, of course; although her character departed early, her outfits were unforgettable.

Not many know that Living Single inspired Friends. Between Khadijah, Synclaire, Régine, and Maxine, it’s hard not to notice the looks that were pulled off. There’s a perfect mix of feminine and masculine as the working woman became more prominent on TV in well-tailored suiting.

There’s also a whole Instagram dedicated to every single outfit on Girlfriends.

These new, four additional ships will bring the fleet to a total of 13, giving you 13 different opportunities to experience everything that Disney Cruise Line is known for.

He’s heard rumors about a mythical creature deep within the temple — and he’s got to see it for himself. So, he brings us along on the adventure… but will there be snakes? We’ll just have to wait and see.

If you’re a fan of drawers, floors, and doors, let’s go! The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. Super7’s Super-Busy Booth at SDCC 2024

By Désirée Guzzetta

Booth visits can be chaotic even in the best of times. But when a booth has several highly sought-after collectibles, it can be almost impossible to get around. Super7 is one of those booths.

When The Nerd Element stopped by to talk founder and owner Brian Flynn about Super7’s presence at the Con, a large line was already being managed in the aisles as dozens of con-goers waited for their chance to buy exclusives such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Party Wagon. There were also plenty of Dungeons & Dragons and Godzilla items available, as well as a collection of nerd T-shirts.

Super7 also hosted two off-site pop-ups, Mikey’s Pizza and Dungeons & Dragons. They’ve been coming to SDCC since 2003 and getting more and more popular. Flynn walked TNE through the booth and pointed out the fun items available, some of which are available for a limited time at

https://super7.com/collections/sdcc-2024-super7-con-all-stars, and one of which is based on Flynn’s childhood.
