Beau DeMayo continues to talk about Disney on social media. DeMayo, who was reportedly fired from X-Men ’97 due to sexual misconduct, has been doubling down on his tweets about his former employer. Now, he claims he was told to make his animated X-Men series “less gay.”

Rumors began to circulate that Disney told Pixar to make Riley’s character in Inside Out 2 “less gay.” Those online began criticizing the company and questioning why they were catering to people who would ask this of their films. DeMayo claims that X-Men ’97 got the same note. “Heard the same words ‘less gay’ on X-Men ’97 when it came to Magnus and Xavier, as well as marketing,” he wrote on X.

Good evening, folks! Today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got correct! So, let’s get started, shall we?! I predicted that the Vikings would beat the 49ers 27-24, but the final score was 23-17 Vikings over the 49ers. I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the Pats 34-27, but the final score was 23-20 Seahawks over the Pats. I predicted that the Packers would beat the Colts 34-17, but the final score was 16-10 Packers over the Colts. I predicted that the Chiefs would beat the Bengals 35-23, but the final score was 26-25 Chiefs over the Bengals. The Chiefs took advantage of the Bengals mistake of the pass interference call on 4^th down and kicked a game-winning field goal. I predicted that the Steelers would beat the Broncos 34-27, but the final score was 13-6 Steelers over the Broncos. I predicted that the Texans would beat the Bears 28-21, but the final score was 19-13 Texans over the Bears.

I predicted that the Rams would beat the Cards 23-20, but the final score was 41-10 Cardinals over the Rams in a huge blowout. The Cardinals offense was on fire and Marvin Harrison got more receiving yards of 130 yards. Two touchdown catches from Kyler Murray. The defense was outstanding. I predicted that the Cowboys would beat the Saints 38-21, but the final score was 44-19 Saints over the Cowboys. I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Raiders 44-23, but the final score was 26-23 Raiders over the Ravens. I predicted that the Eagles would beat the Falcons 38-17, but the final score was 22-21 Falcons over the Eagles. Saquan Barkley dropped a crucial ball on third down and 3 that would have sealed the game for the Eagles. That made the difference in the game.

Overall, I have gotten 6 out of 10 picks correct!!! Now, let’s get to the NFL week 3 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Packers @Titans game. I think the Packers will beat the Titans 31-20. The next game I will predict is the Texans @Vikings game. I think the Vikings will beat the Texans 31-27. The next game I will predict is the Eagles @Saints game. I think the Saints will beat the Eagles 35-30. The next game I will predict is the Chargers @Steelers game. I think the Chargers will beat the Steelers 24-17. The next game I will predict is the Broncos @Bucs game. I think the Bucs will beat the Broncos 34-26. The next game I will predict is the Dolphins @Seahawks game. I think the Dolphins will beat the Seahawks 28-25. The next game I will predict is the Ravens @Cowboys game. I think the Ravens will beat the Cowboys 36-23. The next game I will predict is the Lions @Cardinals game. Both of these teams are really physical on the point of the attack. The Cards are coming off with their win, but the Lions are coming off with their loss. They could not find the end zone. However, Aidan Hutchinson had a 4-sack game last week against the Bucs. Something that the Cards offense need to look out for. Need to find a way to block that guy. He is hard to know where he is on the defensive lineman. Who will be more physical? To me, I feel like the Cards are a little more physical. I am carefully optimistic that the Cards can barely pull off the win over the Lions 38-31. The next game I will predict is the 49ers @Rams game, the divisional rivalries. Both of these teams are coming off with their losses and they have some banged out players. I think the 49ers will beat the Rams 23-17 because the Rams are more banged up than the 49ers are. The have lost their star wide receiver Cooper Kupp for the couple of weeks. The next game I will predict is the Chiefs @Falcons game on Sunday night football. I think the Chiefs will beat the Falcons 34-19. The two games I will predict is the Jags @Bills and Commanders @Bengals game on double Monday night football. I think the Bills will beat the Jags 37-21 and the Bengals beat the Commanders 24-23.

As more singles look for love online, research is showing the disparities Black and Asian singles face than their counterparts.

A 2024 study revealed that Black Tinder users received fewer likes compared to their white counterparts. Data has also shown that Asian men, along with Black women and men, are receiving lower rankings than all other groups on apps like OkCupid.

The findings show how dating apps enable people to quickly filter out those who are different from themselves. It ties to age-old matchmaking norms where singles met through friends or family.

“How couples meet ends up being this incredibly primary battlefield to the reinforcement of a distinction of racial, ethnic, and social class groups,” Reuben Thomas, a sociologist at the University of New Mexico, told Faith Hill of The Atlantic. “As isolating as apps can be, they are “a huge threat to those boundaries.”

Those bold enough to embrace anonymity use filters to avoid seeing people of certain races, while unconscious biases often influence who they choose to swipe right on. Jennifer Lundquist, a University of Massachusetts at Amherst sociologist, says sifting through countless options in a dating app can cause people to rely on snap judgments—often based on stereotypes—that they might not use when getting to know someone face-to-face.

Research also shows that app algorithms, which remain partially undisclosed, tend to pair users primarily based on shared traits. However, dating apps do offer a greater chance for people to connect with others who are different from themselves.

“Very few people have truly diverse networks that really match the kind of diversity you would see” on a dating app, Reuben Thomas, a sociologist at the University of New Mexico, said.

Luke Brunning, a lecturer at the University of Leeds, suggests removing barriers that encourage people from different backgrounds to interact and engage with each other.

“Having people taking the same forms of public transport and using the same parks or the same swimming pools, same public facilities, it’s not going to integrate society overnight,” Brunning said. “But it will have a kind of gradual positive impact that it definitely wouldn’t have if things were different.”

A model developed by researchers Josue Ortega and Philipp Hergovich predicted that simply increasing exposure between people of different races leads to a rise in interracial marriages. This reflects the numerous studies where participants express appreciation for the “opening of social possibilities” that dating apps offer, Gina Potarca, a lecturer at the University of Liverpool, said.
