Black Panther premiered around the world this weekend, and Africans made sure they did not disappoint when it opened in their indvidual countries. The Marvel blockbuster's first Africa premiere was on Tuesday in Kisumu, Kenya. Though it is only Kenya’s third largest city, Kisumu is the home of actress Lupita Nyongo. Kisumu county is lead by Lupita’s father, Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o, who arranged for the first African screening of Black Panther to take place in Western Kenya, Buzzfeed reports. Lupita did not appear for that opening, but she was spotted alongside Danai Gurira at the movie’s premiere in Johannesburg, South Africa on Friday. The ladies of Wakanda have been showing out on the red carpet worldwide, but it appears they can also spit bars! Lupita Nyong’o shared an Instagram video of herself and Black Panther co-star Letitia Wright in a car dropping a quick freestyle between press runs.  “The Black Panther lives… and so does Troublemaker! Introducing MC Underbite (Letitia Wright), best freestyler in Wakanda,” the caption of the video said. Instagram Friday with the video. “All cred to my girl @robynhoodmusic for my bars tho.
