Barack Obama maybe be officially out of the Oval Office, but he’s still in the business of spreading joy in the city he’s now called home for almost 10 years .

Outfitted in a Santa hat, a leather jacket and a smile, the former Commander-In-Chief paid a surprise visit to a group of middle school students at the Boys and Girls Club in Washington, D.C. A video of the heartwarming moment began circulating on social media shortly afterward and the reaction from the kids is absolutely priceless.

The 44th POTUS also took to his personal Twitter account to share a photo from day, complete with a quick message about the importance of giving back during the holiday season. A total of about 50 youngsters were present for the unforgettable visit, during which Obama spoke with them and handed out gifts.

The Obamas have been making their rounds throughout communities across the country since leaving the White House and have already begun keeping their promise to help increase opportunities for young people through their foundation.
