Things We Saw Today: Christmas Lights Set to the Star Wars Imperial March

The Imperial March from Star Wars may not be the most Christmas-y tune that comes to mind when you’re decking the halls and hanging your lights. But that’s exactly what inspired the residents of this house from the San Antonio area as they were creating their holiday display. They used an updated, EDM-dubstep version of the Imperial March, so don’t expect the John Williams original, but it’s still a seriously fun video to watch. (via Nerdist)

  • Star Wars: The Last Jedi had the steepest Friday-to-Friday drop of the franchise, dropping 76.4% from last week. By comparison, The Force Awakens only had a 58.6% drop. (via Daily Dot)
  • Hot Toys is releasing a 1/6 figure of Leia Organa in her The Last Jedi ensemble, in case you wanted to treat yourself. (via Nerdist)
  • In an interview with Collider, which I looked at so you don’t have to, David Ayer very briefly confirmed that Gotham City Sirens is still “in development.” (via Collider)
  • Seanan McGuire has a great essay over at Tor.com about the “fluffy, glittery violence” in My Little Pony.

That’s all I saw today, TMSers. What’d you find?
