As much as we’d love for it to still be Spooky Season (October came and went far too fast), Thanksgiving and Black Friday are right around the corner. Cobra Kai – YouTube Red may be the single biggest dud of the Streaming Era but man, it’s been worth it if only for Cobra Kai. What could be an easy nostalgia cash-grab has instead turned out to be a poignant meditation on masculinity and how it shapes young men. Don’t get us wrong, though – there’s still some great Karate Kid fan service and dope action sequences.
