Sonic The Hedgehog finally received an updated trailer, while the movie Fantasy Island teases a screwed up tropical escape. From Paramount Pictures’ The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run to Netflix’s Selena The Series, here are the top movies and TV shows to keep on your radar.
Fantasy Island
What if your dreams can come true on one vacation retreat? Fantasy Island, a thriller about people who get to take revenge or seek closure, is a chilling mind trip that blurs the lines of reality. Fantasy Island premieres in theaters on Valentine’s Day.
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run
Gary goes missing in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. When the beloved pet gets “snailnapped,” SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star go on the craziest adventure where Keanu Reeves appears as a chill tumbleweed and they encounter “the lost city of Atlantic City.” The animated film hits theaters in May 2020.
SCOOB!
The Mystery Machine crew is back in the animated movie SCOOB!. Shaggy and Scooby end up in a creepy spaceship and Velma, Daphne, and Fred need to rescue their friends and solve the case before it’s too late. SCOOB! is coming to theaters in summer 2020.
Sonic The Hedgehog
After some backlash, the new Sonic The Hedgehog trailer steps up to fan’s expectations. When the superpowered creature shows up to Earth, he has to protect humans from the evil Doctor Eggman (Jim Carrey) and not get caught. Sonic The Hedgehog premieres in theaters on Feb. 14.
Seberg
Seberg is Amazon Studios’ upcoming thriller focused on the life of Jean Seberg (Kristen Stewart), an actress who was targeted by the FBI in the ’60s. When Seberg decides to support the civil rights movement, she becomes harassed by the government and tries to gain back control of her life. Seberg is coming soon to select theaters.
Selena: The Series
A series about Queen of Tejano music Selena Quintanilla is coming to Netflix next year. The Walking Dead’s Christian Serratos stars as the famous singer in the new show, which doesn’t have a set debut date yet.

Move over, Tony Stark: Real-life Iron Man Richard Browning just broke the record for fastest speed in a body-controlled jet engine-powered suit (wind-guided) at 85.06 mph.
The British inventor, founder of Gravity Industries, more than doubled the previous achievement of 32.02 mph—which he set in 2017.
Against the colorful backdrop of Brighton Pier in South East England, Browning took to the sky Thursday as the showpiece for this year’s “Spirit of Adventure”-themed Guinness World Records Day.

The annual celebration sees thousands of people from around the world come together to become title holders.
Among them, Richard Browning, whose suit—the direction of which is controlled by body movement alone—propelled him to new heights (figuratively and literally speaking).
“I’m really pleased,” he said after the flight.
Browning completed two-way runs along the pier, the average speed of which was reported, to take into account inconsistencies like wind speed and direction.
“I was confident we should be able to do it, but that’s very different to coming here and actually achieving it,” he said. “You can never discount the possibility of having a technical problem, so I’m really pleased we’ve delivered what we’ve done.”
This week’s demonstration is actually the fastest Browning has ever flown: In training, he reached top speeds of about 75 mph.
“I didn’t think we’d break what we did in training,” he said. “So I’m very chuffed.”
Watching the first-person video captured by Browning’s helmet cam is intoxicating—until the feeling that I’m falling uncontrollably washes over me. Add to that the Doctor Octopus-esque suit and my complete lack of core muscle, and I think I’ll just sit this one out.

“It truly feels like that dream of flying you have sometimes in your sleep. You are entirely and completely free to move effortlessly in three dimensional space and you shed the ties of gravity,” Browning explained.
Thankfully Unfortunately for the rest of us, it will be a while before we’re experiencing the same freedom.
“It’s not the future of transportation in its current form. It’s a bit like a Formula 1 car or the prices at fashion shows,” according to the inventor. “Neither are entirely practical but hopefully an inspiring and engaging insight into what the future might be.”

Can Rock Trolls Stop the Feeling?
Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return in Trolls World Tour, an all-star sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s 2016 musical hit. In an adventure that will take them well beyond what they’ve known before, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Trolls tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all.
Cast as members of the different musical tribes is one of the largest, and most acclaimed, groups of musical talent ever assembled for an animated film. From the land of Funk are Mary J. Blige, George Clinton, and Anderson .Paak. Representing Country is Kelly Clarkson as Delta Dawn, with Sam Rockwell as Hickory and Flula Borg as Dickory. J Balvin brings Reggaeton, while Ester Dean adds to the Pop tribe. Anthony Ramos brings the beat in Techno and Jamie Dornan covers smooth jazz. World-renowned conductor and violinist Gustavo Dudamel appears as Trollzart and Charlyne Yi as Pennywhistle from the land of Classical. And Kenan Thompson raps as a newborn Troll named Tiny Diamond.
Trolls World Tour is directed by Walt Dohrn, who served as co-director on Trolls, and is produced by returning producer Gina Shay. The film is co-directed by David P. Smith and co-produced by Kelly Cooney Cilella, both of whom worked on the first Trolls.
