Good evening, everyone! Today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got wrong! So, let’s get started! I predicted that the Patriots would beat the Colts 22-14, but the final score was 26-3 Patriots over the Colts. The Colts did not score a single touchdown. I predicted that the Jets would beat the Bills 21-18, but the final score was 20-17 Jets over the Bills. I predicted that the Vikings would beat the Commanders 34-24, but the final score was 20-17 Vikings over the Commanders. I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the Cardinals 33-21, but the final score was 31-21 Seahawks over the Cardinals. The Cardinals once again make mistakes just like last week and the offense struggled again. However, the Cardinals have finally managed to score a touchdown on their first drive of their possession. The Cardinals offense just need to not make too many mistakes every time like high snaps, turnovers, and drop balls. I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Saints 24-16, but the final score was 27-13 Ravens over the Saints.

I predicted that the Packers would beat the Lions 17-14, but the final score was 15-9 Lions over the Packers. The Packers are not the team that they were last season because their offense did not do anything at the trade deadline especially trading for a wide receiver and Aaron Rodgers is not happy in Green Bay right now. They miss Devante Adams. I predicted that the Rams would beat the Buccaneers 23-20, but the final score was 16-13 Bucs over the Rams. I predicted that the Titans would beat the Chiefs 30-27, but the final score was 20-17 Chiefs over the Titans.

So overall, I have gotten 5 out of 8 picks correct!! Now, let’s get to the NFL week 10 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Seahawks @Buccaneers game. I think the Seahawks will beat the Bucs 31-23. The next game I will predict is the Vikings @Bills game. I think that this will be a very good game. I think the Bills will beat the Vikings 31-26 in a close game. The next game I will predict is the Jags @Chiefs game. I think the Chiefs will beat the Jags 34-20. The next game I will predict is the Browns @Dolphins game. I think the Dolphins will beat the Browns 24-17. The next game I will predict is the Texans @Giants game. I think the Giants will beat the Texans 35-16. The next game I will predict is the Broncos @Titans game. I think the Titans will beat the Broncos 27-19. The next game I will predict is the Colts @Raiders game. I think the Raiders will beat the Colts 29-16. The next game I will predict is the Cowboys @Packers game. I think the Cowboys will beat the Packers 24-16.

The next game I will predict is the Cardinals @Rams game, the divisional rivalries. Both of these teams are coming off with brutal losses last week. Both offenses are really struggling especially the Cardinals offense. The Cardinals might be without their starting safety Budda Baker and that would be a big loss, but he could play actually. If he does play, then that would be good news for the Cardinals defense because they need to shut down the Rams best wide receiver Cooper Kupp. He was held pretty good the last time these two teams played. The Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is questionable to play and so is Kyler Murray. If Kyler cannot play, then Colt McCoy will be starting for the Cardinals who has been pretty good moving the offense down the field. The big issue that the Cardinals are really facing right now is their offensive linemen because they are missing their starters including Rodney Hudson, and Will Hernandez. They have to find a way to block Aaron Donald because he is going to try and wreck your gameplan. You are not going to have Aaron blocked every time you snap the ball, but you got to slow him down by running the football under center more, try not to throw too many wide receiver screens, no high snaps, no turning the ball over, and taking too many penalties that put you in bad situations. This game is a must win for the Cardinals and they know it. If they don’t win this game, their season is likely over. So, who will win? Well, I’m going to carefully pick the Cardinals to beat the Rams 20-17. But if they can limit mistakes and get big stops on defense and forcing turnovers, then I think the Cardinals will win and they must. So, fingers crossed! The next game I will predict is the Chargers @49ers on Sunday Night Football. I think the 49ers will beat the Chargers 24-20. The last game I will predict is the Commanders @Eagles game, the divisional rivalries on Monday Night Football. I think the Eagles will beat the Commanders 35-17.

a forthcoming DC comic puts Flash's infamous Rogues Gallery in the spotlight as anti-heroes; Warrior Nun returns to Netflix for S2;  and while Dburt was visiting the Netflix platform he came across a fascinating and informative documentary entitled, Is That Black Enough for You? detailing the history of African-American cinema and lastly, the popular and somewhat comedic MCU character, Darcy Lewis (as portrayed by actress, Kal Dennings)  will be making her Marvel Comics debut in 2023's Scarlet Witch premiere issue.

It’s not enough to call Top Gun: Maverick a bonafide hit. The long-awaited sequel is a worldwide phenomenon, bringing in nearly $1.5 billion in ticket sales around the globe. And it didn’t just take off with audiences, either. Critics also loved the high-octane return of Tom Cruise’s Pete Mitchell. That’s why it’s hard to imagine it possibly being any better than it already is. But that was before we saw the Top Gun franchise reimagined with a cat in a starring role. And while America might not be safer with a feline flyer, it sure is a lot cuter. And also a lot funnier.

The YouTube channel OwlKitty felt the need…the need for speed. It also felt the need to make yet another perfect movie/cat mashup video. Their latest cinematic crossover places an adorable black cat alongside Tom Cruise’s iconic Navy pilot. Rather than serving with Goose (RIP Goose!) during his early flying days, Maverick had a little furry friend with him. And presumably because cat’s (and Tom Cruise) have nine lives, it was still around for the 2022 sequel. (Again, we miss you Goose!)

From the sands of a volleyball court to riding on a motorcycle, this kitty lives life fast. He’s also a pretty good pilot himself, taking some of the country’s best young fliers to school. Though, in fairness to them, we imagine it would be hard to focus when flying alongside a cat at Mach 3.

Would Top Gun: Maverick really have been even better with a cat in a prominent role? Probably not, but we’re not ruling it out either. We are positive, though, that this combo made for perfect internet silliness. Because while we always have the need for speed, we also always have the need for funny cat videos. And anyone who gives those to us can always be our wingman.

The beginning of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever starts with the death of King T’Challa, throwing the whole nation into disarray. His mother, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), assumed her duties as Wakanda’s sovereign ruler despite her grief. But problems beset her reign, including the governments of the world trying to obtain Wakanda’s vibranium and then with Namor and the Kingdom of Talokan waging war on them. Ultimately, in a brazen attack on Wakanda, Namor took Ramonda’s life. Then the line of succession really came into question and we were left wondering who Wakanda’s new ruler would be. In the end of Wakanda Forever, M’Baku became Wakanda’s new king. Here’s how it all shook out in the end when it came to Wakanda’s throne.

The Black Panther Is Not Always Wakanda’s Ruler

Traditionally, the ruler of Wakanda is often also the nation’s protector, the Black Panther. But sometimes, those roles are separate. When King T’Chaka grew too old to be Black Panther, his son T’Challa assumed the role. When we met T’Challa in Civil War, he was already the Panther. That was even before he was crowned king. Towards the final act of Wakanda Forever, his sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) recreated the Heart-Shaped Herb synthetically and became the new Black Panther. However, she did not take the throne. Instead, fan-favorite M’Baku, played by Winston Duke, ascended to the throne to become Wakanda’s new king.

M’Baku Is Wakanda’s New King (For Now) in Wakanda Forever

Shuri decided not to appear at the crowing ceremony after choosing to ally herself with Talokan. She sent M’Baku of the Jabari (Winston Duke) in her place to take the throne. While we don’t see what happens in the actual crowning ceremony, we don’t think anyone has the gumption to fight M’Baku for the throne.

Winston Duke himself discussed M’Baku’s Wakanda Forever journey. He noted, “It’s kind of cool, though, being revealed as the King of Wakanda at the end of the movie… That’s huge. So, whatever that entails, it’s gonna be a fun one.”

In addition to this confirmation, we know that M’Baku became a staunch ally of T’Challa in the aftermath of the first Black Panther film, as seen in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. In Wakanda Forever, he showed solid judgment and a diplomatic sensibility that befits the throne. We’d like to think that, at this point, the people of Wakanda would gladly welcome him as their ruler. M’Baku has more than proven himself worthy of being Wakanda’s king.

Prince T’Challa II Could Become King of Wakanda After M’Baku

Of course, M’Baku is merely the steward of Wakanda’s throne for the foreseeable future. Because as the mid-credits sequence informed us, Nakia and T’Challa had a son, a child they kept secret from the eyes of the Wakandan ruling council. Given that young Toussaint (or T’Challa II, as is his royal name) was about six when we met him, it’s safe to say that he was born about a year after the events of Black Panther, so right before the Blip. Nakia, T’Challa, and Ramonda wanted him raised away from the pressures of the throne, so Nakia took him to Haiti. He is next in line to succeed M’Baku as king when he comes of age.

Will We See Adult T’Challa II Sooner Rather Than Later?

Now, you may be thinking that this means it’ll be at least a decade before we see T’Challa II take the throne and the Black Panther mantle. However, this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Alternate timeline shenanigans are coming up soon in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. It would not be beyond the realm of possibility for time-traveling warlord Kang to take young T’Challa II (and perhaps other children of famous MCU heroes) to a place where time flows differently. They might emerge in our time instantly as young adults, or even older. We have a precedent in the comics, too, although it’s with a different character.

Marvel Comics did this with the character of Cable. He was the infant son of the X-Men’s Cyclops’ and Jean Grey’s clone, who barely had time to be a child. He was whisked away to an alternate future, and then emerged as the adult warrior Cable in our time. Don’t be surprised if the MCU pulls something like this with young T’Challa, if only so that he can be our Black Panther in a potential third film. But in the meantime, the ruler and king of Wakanda is still M’Baku. The outside world had better proceed with caution.
