Hi everyone! Today I want to go over the games that I got right and wrong from last week. I predicted that the Vikings would beat the Lions 41-24, but the final score was 19-17 Vikings over the Lions. The Lions lost another game when the Vikings went down the field and kicked a game-winning field goal. I predicted that the Buccaneers would beat the Dolphins 33-20, but the final score was 45-17 Bucs over the Dolphins in a blowout. I predicted that the Saints would beat the Football Team 36-24, but the final score was 33-22 Saints over the Washington Football Team. This was a pretty close prediction there! I predicted that the Packers would beat the Bengals 34-27, but the final score was 25-22 Packers over the Bengals in overtime. This game was absolutely crazy because the Packers kicker Mason Crosby missed about 3 to 4 field goals and the Bengals kicker missed 2 field goals. But later on, the Packers kicker finally made the field goal to win the game for the Packers in overtime. I predicted that the Cowboys would beat the Giants 37-30, but the final score was 44-20 Cowboys over the Giants. The Cowboys played extremely well on offense and defense. They are the dangerous team to watch this season. For the Cowboys fans, “How about Them Cowboys!”
I predicted that the Cardinals would beat the 49ers 31-23, but the final score was 17-10 Cardinals over the 49ers in a close game, but a low scoring game. The Cardinals offense was struggling mostly in the 2nd half after their tight end Maxx Williams went down with the leg injury and he is out for the rest of the season. They made it hard on themselves but they found a way to win the game. The Cardinals defense on the other hand played outstanding football despite the offense was struggling. I knew that the 49ers were going to put up a fight. This was the first time the Cardinals did not score 30 points. When they score 30 points a game, they are more likely to win. You are not going to score 30 points every game, but you do enough to win the game. I predicted that the Bills would beat the Chiefs 36-33, but the final score was 38-20 Bills over the Chiefs. The Chiefs defense continued to be awful on defense and their pass rushing guy Chris Jones was not able to play so that really affected their defense. They could not rush the passer that much, they were called for the bad call on roughing the passer, and their offense made some careless mistakes. They are now 2-3. I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Colts 35-27, but the final score was 31-25 Ravens over the Colts in overtime. The Colts were up 22-3, 25-10, but the Ravens came all the way back to win the game led by the quarterback Lamar Jackson. It looked like the Ravens were going to lose the game because the Ravens defensive player pushed an offensive lineman to the ground which was a huge mistake because it was a penalty on him. But the Colts kicker missed a game-winning field goal to allow the overtime to happen. The Colts really let that game slip away from them.
I predicted that the Panthers would beat the Eagles 29-17, but the final score was 21-18 Eagles over the Panthers. The Eagles came back to win the game after they were down most of the entire quarter. I predicted that the Broncos would beat the Steelers 26-20, but the final score was 27-19 Steelers over the Broncos. I predicted that the Browns would beat the Chargers 24-17, but the final score was 47-42 Chargers over the Browns in a shootout. The Browns offense was lighting it up on the Chargers defense with their passing and running game, but the Browns defense got absolutely lit up by the Chargers offense led by the quarterback Justin Herbert. They were just gashed from the Geico.
So, base off my predictions, I have gotten 8 out of 11 picks correct! Now, let’s get started on the week 6 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Vikings @Panthers game. I think the Panthers will rebound from last week’s loss to the Eagles over the Vikings in a close game 24-20. The next game I will predict is the Chargers @Ravens game. Both of these teams are coming off with the wins last week. I think this will be a great game! I actually think the Chargers are going to win this game over the Ravens in a close game 30-27. The next game I will predict is the Rams @Giants game. The Giants are having issues on offense because they have injuries such as quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. Not a good look if you are going against a really good team like the Rams. So, I think the Rams will beat the Giants 31-13. The next game I will predict is the Chiefs @Washington Football Team. Both of these teams are coming off with losses last week. I think the Chiefs really need to win this game to try and catch up to their division and I think they will over the Football team 45-24. If they don’t win this game, then that may haunt their chances of going to the playoffs. The defense has got to start playing better to help their offense. The next game I will predict is the Packers @Bears game, a divisional rivalry. I think the Packers will take care of business over the Bears even though they are starting to play better. The final score I will say 25-17 Packers win over the Bears. The next game I will predict is the Bengals @Lions game. Both of these teams are coming off with losses last week. The Lions have not won any games so far this season. I think the Bengals will keep the Lions winless by beating them 26-19.
The next game I will predict is the Cardinals @Browns game. This is going to be a really tough test for the Cardinals especially to when it comes to the run defense. The Browns offense is leading the league in rushing yards per game and it should be concerning for the Cardinals because they are struggling to stop the run. Now, the Browns scary running back Nick Chubb is out for tomorrow’s game and that is good news for the Cardinals defense. But they will have to deal with the running back Kareem Hunt who is also pretty scary. The Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has tested positive and he will miss tomorrow’s game. The defensive coordinator for the Cardinals Vance Joseph will have to split some plays with the offensive line coach Sean Kugler. The Cardinals have traded for the Eagles tight end Zach Ertz for Tay Gowan the corner back and a couple picks yesterday morning. This move was a real big one because they need a tight end who can be like Maxx Williams and they just got it. Now, he is not going to be playing tomorrow because he is not eligible to play, but he will be in week 7 against the Houston Texans. Going back to the prediction of this game, the Cardinals offense has to score points and not let the defensive lineman Myles Garrett get to the quarterback too much because their defense may have a hard time stopping the run of the Browns offense. The Cardinals defense has to put pressure on the quarterback Baker Mayfield. Got to take advantage of the Browns secondary who may be banged up on defense and the Browns offense who might have some offensive linemen out, but you never know. So, who is going to win this game? This might be a hard choice for me to say this, but I think the Browns will unfortunately give the Cardinals their first loss of the season in a close game 26-23. I just have concerns for the Cardinals run defense getting demolished against a very good running team. But I’m not going to underestimate the Cardinals too much though.
The next game I will predict is the Cowboys @Patriots game. I think the Cowboys will come out on top over the Patriots 34-17. The next game I will predict is the Raiders @Broncos game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Raiders are going to lose to the Broncos 23-13 because of the situation that the head coach Jon Gruden has resigned from the Raiders due to the emails that did not end well for him. Plus, the Raiders are basically falling apart after starting off the season 3-0. The next game I will predict is the Seahawks @Steelers game on Sunday Night Football. The Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Chris Carson might be out for a while. The Steelers offense is starting to become dangerous than ever. I think the Steelers will beat the Seahawks 30-17. The last game I will predict is the Bills @Titans game. Both of these teams are coming off with their wins last week. I do think the Titans will slow down the Bills and beat them in a close game 34-26.

We’re only a few weeks away from Marvel Studios’ Eternals, which bows in theaters on November 5, 2o21. In the first official clip released for the Chloé Zhao-directed film, we see a host of the superheroes’ powers in action as they battle some gorgeously rendered monsters.
The clip showcases the abilities of three of the Eternals—Ikaris, Makkari, and Kingo—who are trying to save people from snarly enormous creatures that look, quite frankly, awesome. (There are more than thirty Eternals in the comics, and the movie is set to focus on at least ten of them; get ready to learn about a lot of Eternals.)
Richard Madden’s Ikaris can fly (maybe not too close to the sun?) and shoot cosmic energy out of his eyes, which he demonstrates as he goes after one of the magnificently menacing dragon-like beasts. Lauren Ridloff’s Makkari is the fastest woman around, and she uses her amazing speed here on the offense. Makkari is deaf, and we get to see a great quippy exchange in sign language between her and Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo. Ridloff, a deaf actor, will be playing the first deaf superhero in the MCU. Nanjiani’s Kingo can create cosmic energy blasts that shoot from his fingertips (Nanjiani has called them “finger guns”), and he has a flamboyant style.
This clip is just fifty seconds long, but it’s already worked to get me even more hyped for Eternals. The movie looks visually stunning, and I love the seamless teamwork we see play out with Makkari and Kingo. There are quite a few Eternals to keep track of, but I have the feeling they’re all going to be given their own strong moments to shine. This seems like a superhero movie unlike those that have come before from Marvel Studios, and I hope that we’re in for something special.

- Our beloved Patrick from Schitt’s Creek, Noah Reid, will be making his Broadway debut in Tracy Letts’ play The Minutes. This is a huge upgrade from Armie Hammer, who was previously in Reid’s role and withdrew in the midst of sexual misconduct allegations. (via Deadline)
- Are the Russo brothers coming back to direct more Marvel movies? (via Comicbook Movie)
- Netflix, which is in need of some serious crisis PR management as it continues to make terrible decisions around everything connected to Dave Chappelle, has now fired an employee who leaked information on how much money the streamer spent on Chappelle’s comedy specials. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
- “Jamie Lee Curtis: ‘My biggest roles were to do with my body, my physicality, my sexuality’” (via The Guardian)

This is obviously all speculation, but on the off chance these come true, the following could be considered a spoiler. SO… let’s just go ahead and give one of these:
1/99 Sersi (Gemma Chan)
You can only unceremoniously kill Gemma Chan off once, so let’s begin there. This rare MCU do-over gives the actor a chance to find a lasting role with the studio. Aside from that glaring fact, Sersi could introduce the next iteration of the (Jacket) Avengers. In the ’90s, Sersi was a staple member of the team that adopted leather jackets to wear over their costumes. Nothing says “I’m cool” like a collar! With the MCU Avengers out of action, we think that we could be seeing Sersi and her A-team coming to our screens soon.
1/98 Dane Whitman (Kit Harington)
An enduring Avenger since the late ’60s. Marvel didn’t cast
1/5 Gilgamesh (Don Lee)
If there’s any justice in the world, Don Lee will be the next MCU superstar. Sure, we’re playing favorites here, we want him to stick around. But canonically it makes sense for Gilgamesh to play a large part in the multiversal war to come. Just like Black Knight and Sersi, Gilgamesh has been an Avenger. Sure, it was in the much maligned
4/11 Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani)
Seeing as Kingo is currently the character fans are most excited about, we think his odds of survival are pretty high. The comic book iteration of Kingo is similar but very different as he lived in Japan and created a career from playing samurai. We know this movie changes him to a successful Bollywood actor for Nanjiani’s Kingo. During his long life, Kingo has gone against some of his fellow teammates and sought council in the Deviants. So it’s unclear where he’ll land in the context of the greater battle. But with his fan favorite status and reimagined history for the movie, we think his odds on living are pretty good.
4/9 Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry)
While we’d love to see Phastos—apparently the MCU’s first gay superhero—survive, we’re firmly in the middle on this one. Brian Tyree Henry is a blessing and the MCU is lucky to have him. But he’s also gay and Black in a superhero movie, which means that we’re not sure how long he’ll get to live. We hope that Marvel knows better than to Bury Your Gays with its first gay hero, but we don’t have much faith. In his defense, his incredible intelligence and powers that allow him to craft unbelievable machines seem like they could come in handy in the future battle to fix the multiverse… so maybe we’ll win this time?
1/2 Makkari (Lauren Ridloff)
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first on-screen Deaf hero who’s also played by a Black Deaf actress, we’re hoping Makkari sticks around. But just like Phastos, we don’t necessarily trust Disney to not sacrifice her at the first chance they get. Canonically, Makkari is one of the most influential and powerful Eternals. But if we look at the comics, it seems like we’re getting a Makkari after their interactions with the Dreaming Celestial: a Deaf/mute woman. That means it’s unclear how much they’ll pull from that powerful past. We will say, though, if romantic closeness to Sersi keeps you alive… Makkari might just have a chance.
1/1 Ajak (Salma Hayek)
Ajak is probably one of the most well known Eternals, so it seems like they could have a pretty good chance of survival. The reason they’re bang in the middle of our odds is two fold. In the trailer we see them visit Ikaris and then see him do his evil Superman eye lasers, so it could be that Ajak never leaves Ikaris’ farm. Secondly, in the comics Ajak has done terrible things to her fellow teammates like Gilgamesh and Makkari. So if she’s going to follow that path and turn on her one-time friends, she’s a likely candidate to die.
5/4 Druig (Barry Keoghan)
Look, according to the trailer this guy literally started a cult with his powers. First, that seems to go against the whole “don’t intervene” rule that stopped them stopping Thanos. Second, that’s a truly unhinged thing to do. But it absolutely goes along with his character in the comics, who’s a power-hungry untrustworthy villain. It’s interesting to see the trailers set him up as an ally. One of his most important and dangerous choices was helping Thanos… could that have been something he did in the MCU’s past too? And if so, surely he won’t live long.
40/3 Thena (Angelina Jolie)
Look, first things first: she’s Angelina freaking Jolie!!! And narratively from what we’ve seen in the trailers, it looks like Thena might be one of the most compromised members of the team. She seems to be connected to one of the monstrous Deviants that they’re trying to defeat. Also, during Avengers (vol. 8), Thena—along with all the Eternals—killed herself after the arrival of the Celestials’ final host. Though we don’t know if we’ll see all of them commit to that same fate, it seems likely that Thena might just sacrifice herself. And in the comics, she is one of the few Eternals who hasn’t been reborn since.
33/1 Sprite (Lia McHugh)
Sorry. Sprite. While her sarcastic humor and cool duplication skills in the trailer have made us Sprite fans, there’s one harsh truth here. If you’re a character who eternally looks like a teenager, it’s unlikely that you’ll get to see the sequel. Sprite also has a dark and deceitful history which has pitted her against her fellow teammates. Perhaps we could see that betrayal revisited in the movie, but either way we don’t expect Sprite to survive.
