Join National Geographic and Nerd Nite for our annual San Diego Comic-Con Party to celebrate the reimagined BRAIN GAMES with mind-bending illusions and games from the set! BRAIN GAMES, hosted by Keegan-Michael Key, challenges some of the world’s biggest celebrities to realize their special brain power through fun and highly entertaining interactive games, illusions and social experiments that will reveal the “why” behind the “wow.” The series is premiering this Fall.

Known for taking well loved entertainment properties from the past and putting a new, modern spin on them, Super7 has done it again with the beloved comic strip Peanuts and focusing on the more stylized 1950’s characters from the launch of the strip.
Return to the good ol’ days of Peanuts at the exclusive Good Grief, a Super7 x Peanuts Gift Shop, showcased at the Super7 San Diego store. This once in a year/lifetime/Comic-Con exclusive event will take place Friday through Sunday, July 19-21, 2019

This collection’s signature piece, the Good Ol’ Charlie Brown 3.75” ReAction Figure showcases Charlie Brown as he appeared in the very first Peanuts newspaper strip from October 2nd, 1950. Standing by Good Ol’ Charlie Brown’s side will be a life-size 16” Snoopy vinyl figure featuring a teasing Snoopy, complete with a removable Charlie Brown Mask and fabric shirt, as he was seen in the Oct 23, 1953 strip. Six additional 3.75” ReAction figures join in on the fun, including Cowboy Charlie Brown, Racoon Hat Snoopy, PJ Sally, Baseball Schroeder, Pirate Linus, and Winter Lucy.
“Growing up, Peanuts was my dad’s favorite, and from the time I could read he gave me his childhood Peanuts books, and the love of it is something we have shared ever since.
To be able to make the Peanuts figures I always wanted to have as a child is a dream come true for both of us.” explains Brian Flynn, Super7 founder, and owner.

I did the math. I wanted to be right. But the directors of Avengers: Endgame have said that “I love you 3000” doesn’t mean what we think it means. With the run-time of Spider-Man: Far From Home added in, the entire MCU (at this current moment) is 3000 minutes. So, when Tony Stark said “I love you 3000” to Morgan Stark at the end of Avengers: Endgame, many of us thought it was an ode to all of us who have loved the series from the beginning.
Well, the Russos brothers have now pointed out that they’re not smart enough to worry about planning that far ahead and honestly, fine. I’m still going to carry on believing that Robert Downey Jr. was telling all of us that he loved us for his time as Tony Stark. But, according to an interview with Deco Drive, it’s nothing more than a coincidence.
Sorry, guys — *apparently* the runtime of all the #MCU movies equaling 3,000 minutes (as in, #ILOVEYOU3000) is just a coincidence!

As you can see, it was just a happy accident. Joe Russo even explained that it’d be too hard for them to try and plan something like that.
“We worked really hard to make sure… we’ve been planning that since Winter Soldier. No, I mean that is absolutely coincidental, we’re not that smart.”
Still, the importance of that line has followed me around ever since I saw the movie. And sure, Robert Downey Jr. said it was something his kids had said to him, but also, it’s the perfect line to exit the Marvel Cinematic Universe with. Saying goodbye to those 3,000 minutes that we have all spent loving Tony Stark and his time as our Iron Man? Iconic.
So whether or not it was their actual point, I’m going to say that the Russo brothers should just run with this and take the most perfect of happy accidents. Own it! I will willingly cry over “I love you 3000” for the rest of my days and that is totally okay by me.
