We’re diving straight into the issues-no filler.  You know the spiel….check out our latest episode of Afronerd Radio’s The Grindhouse broadcast-airing Sundays at 6pm eastern.  Join your “actually ready for primetime” AFROnerdists as they decipher the following issues: veteran West Coast hip hop artists/actor/producer, Ice Cube is fending off “sellout” criticisms for allegedly working with the Trump administration on a black empowerment program; after all the hoopla over actor, Tatiana Maslany getting the Disney+ She-Hulk gig, now she is claiming that it was just a rumor (sure!); a Disney investor is letting it be known that he thinks Marvel’s delayed Black Widow film should bypass theaters to go straight to VOD; is the recently released Bruce Willis Die Hard is Back trailer really marking the action legend’s return to the franchise or is it a ploy to sell widgets?;  rumor has it that The Baby-Sitters Club actress, Xochitl Gomez might be portraying Young Avengers’ America Chavez in the forthcoming Doctor Strange sequel;  hmm…..so there’s beef between the “POC” and TOS Charmed casts? Let’s discuss;  is DC comics upcoming Future State story arc the comic publisher’s foray into putting a diversity spin on their legacy characters?;  it seems that corporations still don’t understand how urban culture works, hence the change of sneakers worn by Miles Morales in the upcoming eponymously titled video game is causing a stir on the internets;

And lastly, Dburt discovers Amazon’s Black Box movie and the question remains, why isn’t this Welcome to the Blumhouse streaming film or its director, Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour better known?  Call in LIVE at 508-645-0100.

Oh and least we forget notable actor/producer, Michael B. Jordan appears to be connected to a possible Static Shock film….who would’ve thought?
