K-POPS! follows BJ (Anderson .Paak), a fish-out-of-water musician searching for stardom while carrying the emotional weight of a complicated past relationship. In an effort to revive his music career, BJ lands a gig with a house band in Seoul for a high-energy K-Pop competition show, only to discover that his long-lost son, Tae Young (Soul Rasheed), is also chasing the same dream. What unfolds is a heartfelt and comedic story about rebuilding relationships, learning to trust people as they evolve, and uniting cultures through the universal language of music.
