Prime Video’s latest psychological thriller Malice unravels a chilling story of obsession, deception, and revenge set against the backdrop of privilege and power. The series follows Adam Healey (Jack Whitehall), a seemingly charming tutor who ingratiates himself with the wealthy Tanner family during their vacation in Greece. When the family’s nanny suddenly falls ill, Adam manipulates his way into their London home where his darker motives begin to unfold.

As Adam embeds himself deeper into the Tanner family’s world, he cunningly drives a wedge between patriarch Jamie Tanner (David Duchovny) and his wife Nat (Carice van Houten), exploiting their vulnerabilities to execute a meticulously crafted vendetta. What begins as a slow burn of psychological tension soon spirals into chaos, as questions arise about Adam’s true identity and the sinister lengths he’s willing to go to destroy those he envies.

BGN’s Jamie Broadnax sat down with creator and executive producer James Wood, alongside the talented ensemble cast Whitehall, Duchovny, van Houten, Christine Adams (“Jules”), and Raza Jaffery (“Damien”) to discuss the show’s layered performances, morally complex characters, and the blurred line between justice and madness.

The cast reflects on how Malice examines the seductive danger of charm and the fragility of trust within families under scrutiny. Wood reveals that the series was designed as both a psychological puzzle and a social commentary on class, privilege, and revenge. With haunting performances and cinematic tension that builds to a shattering climax, Malice promises to keep audiences questioning everyone’s motives right up to the final scene.
