This year’s Met Gala theme had many talking. Superfine: Tailoring Black Style had stars in beautiful suits, iconic looks, and bringing history to life. As is the case with Sydney Sweeney’s Met Gala look.

As always, Zendaya’s look was absolutely breathtaking, Janelle Monáe’s take on the theme was gorgeous, and co-chair Colman Domingo’s stunning look. But Sweeney’s look was a nod to her new film she’s starring in with David Jonsson that Colman Domingo is directing. That film details the love affair between actress Kim Novak (Sweeney) and the Rat Pack’s own Sammy Davis Jr. (Jonsson).
