Two of our favorite people are teaming up to produce a new TV comedy for ABC Studios.  Deadline reports that Larry Wilmore and Viola Davis have signed on to produce Black Don't Crack, a television comedy that focuses on three sorority sisters who lose touch after college. The three unite during important times in their lives and realize the importance of sisterhood and allowing yourself to crack. [brightcove id=5575412261001] Both Davis and Wilmore will executive produce through their production companies—Davis runs JuVee Productions with husband and partner Julius Tennon.  Tennon said in a statement, "Viola and I are inspired by Regina Hicks and to have Larry Wilmore EP is a dream. Seeing these three African American women who appear not to age but, to have challenges that we can all relate to and in a way, we have not seen before, will be a revelation." Wilmore is the co-creator behind Issa Rae's Insecure and is set to executive produce an untitled TV movie about a single dad.   Davis will play Harriet Tubman in a currently untitled project and you can catch the actress on ABC's How To Get Away With Murder.
